Hailing from Mumbai and raised in Thane, Dr. Vaidya pursued his medical education at Mumbai University and with a passion for advancing medical care, he completed a rigorous 3-year residency in Internal Medicine at the prestigious University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, followed by an additional 3-year fellowship in Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care at the same institution.
Following his 4-year practice at Hays Medical Centre, Kansas, USA, Dr. Vaidya as the medical director established the pulmonary department and developed the ICU at Hays. He instituted protocols for critical illness, treatment, and diagnosis, leaving an indelible mark on the institution.
Upon returning to India, he laid the foundation of Horizon Hospital, marking a pivotal moment in healthcare. His special interests encompass Complex Pulmonary Interventions, Sepsis, Interventional Pulmonary, ARDS, and sleep disorders.
